Simon Weiss, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Simon Weiss was born and raised in
Peru. He obtained his medical degree from Albert
Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Dr.
Weiss trained at Yale University in Connecticut in
the primary care medicine and at Baylor College of
Medicine in Houston in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He was selected as one of the privileged few to train
in a fellowship in Laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Weiss benefited from training with some of the
most renowned specialists in the world, including
Denton A. Coole M.D. in cardiovascular surgery, L.
Russell Malinak M.D. in endometriosis, James M. Wheeler
M.D. in laparoscopic surgery, Alan Kaplan M.D. in
gynecologic oncology and Raymond H. Kauffman M.D.
in diseases of the vulva and vagina.
Dr. Weiss believes in practicing
medicine by combining deep knowledge base with common
sense. Compassion and understanding for patients
are an integral part of his character. During his
years of practice in Florida, where he resides with
his wife and four children, patients have benefited
from his practice philosophy and have rewarded Dr.
Weiss by referring family, friends and coworkers
to his care.
