Jose Rivas, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Jose Rivas is a 1999 graduate of the University of Guadalajara School of Medicine and completed an internship year at New York Medical College in 2000. He went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 2004.

Dr. Rivas is proficient in advanced Laparoscopic pelvic surgery including Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. He is also proficient in advanced vaginal surgery including vaginal hysterectomy and the latest techniques for incontinence and prolapse surgery. Dr. Rivas and all the doctors in the practice take care of routine, as well as high-risk pregnancies.

Dr. Rivas believes that every patient should be treated with respect and kindness. His bedside manner is described as comfortable and his personality is friendly. During your initial visit with Dr. Rivas you will be treated in a professional, gentle and compassionate manner.

Dr. Rivas is currently on staff at Memorial Hospital Miramar and Memorial Regional Hospital. He enjoys the outdoors, golf and photography. Dr. Rivas along with his wife Blanca and their two children reside in Weston, FL.
